Here is a great article for anyone that owns a Mac: 100 Free Useful Applications for Mac, Part 1. One of our personal favorites here is MindNode, an easy to use mind mapping application.
It looks like there will be a part two of this series coming out sometime next week with another list of useful Mac apps.

Here’s a little series we’re going to be running throughout our iTunes Gift Card Contest. We thought that it would be fun if we each put together a list of what we would do with the $25 iTunes gift card (even though we’re not eligible…hey, it’s still fun to dream, right?). On Mondays throughout the contest, we’ll be posting a list of music, iPhone applications, and video that each of us would purchase with $25 iTunes store credit.
If you haven’t entered for the drawing for the actual iTunes gift card yet, click here to learn how to get signed up.
I’m up first, so without further ado, here’s my list (in my case, these are all a selection of what I’ve got on my iPod Touch at the moment):
Applications

To celebrate the launch of our new website, we decided we would hold a contest here on the blog and give away a shiny, new $25 iTunes gift card. To enter, you have to do two things:
First, you’ll need to do one of the following:
(you can always do more than one of these things too…we’d love you for it, but it won’t increase your chances of winning)
Second, and most importantly, you must leave a comment on this post to let us know where you are completing one of the first three requirements.
Do both of these and you’re in. The deadline to enter is April 30th, 2009. A winner will be chosen at random on May 1st, 2009 and will be notified via email. Employees of Drum Creative, their familes and their pets are not eligible to participate. To everyone else, GOOD LUCK!

If you have visited DrumCreative.com recently, then you have no doubt noticed that there have been some substantial changes to our site. We have been working away on this new design and we are now excited to say that we are ready to officially release it out into the world. Now that we’re going public with the new look, we wanted to point out a couple of key features.
If you’re reading this post, then you are already staring at the most significant change – the addition of a Drum Creative blog. Watch this space for updates on what is going on in the wide world of Drum. While we’re talking about social web applications, we would also like to point out that you can now follow us on Twitter and check out our latest pictures on flickr.
Another section of our site that has been updated is our portfolio. Head on over and browse through some of our past projects and be sure to click on each of the images to zoom in on each thumbnail. On some of these, you can also flip the image over to see some additional information.
So take a few minutes to look around and be sure to check back often!

Every blog in Greenville is exploding with news of our Thundersnow last night. We have been informed that a “Thundersnow” is a rare thunderstorm with snow falling as the primary precipitation instead of rain.
When we finally made it into the office this morning, we discovered that we had been attacked by small creatures from another design agency, or maybe just the woods next to the office. Notice the small tracks leading to the front door. You can’t see them but they were all over the front parking lot. Our neighbors told us that they had spotted a small fox wondering around our parking lot at night a while back, so now we have physical evidence.
