FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Greenville, SC – September 25, 2015
In the academic world of design, there are two distinct schools of thought. One group is convinced that form follows function while the other group takes a more egotistical view, believing that function follows form. However, Drum Creative dances to the beat of a different drummer when it comes to defining form and functionality. It’s called, IMPACT.
Drum believes “for every creative action there must be a greater reaction” and for over 10 years they have put theory into practice, earning them a top spot in search rankings for graphic and web design.
“Joe and I wanted a name for our business that was synonymous with “impact”, and then it hit us….DRUM!” said Tom Stitt, co-owner of Drum Creative. Joe LaPenna, the other co-owner of the business partnership, added: “We wanted to build a business in which our clients would know they could depend on us to help them ‘Drum Up Business’.” Drum’s original tagline, Experience • Design • Results, was based on both partner’s previous years of marketing and design experience, producing results for such mega brands as Hanes, Legg’s, Bali, Vf Corporation, Planters/Lifesavers, Gerber Childrenswear, and more.
“One of our first clients was Fruit of the Loom, which gave us a great foundation for building our local marketing and design services reputation,” said Stitt. After six months into the business, they decided to expand their design and marketing team to include an experienced graphic designer, Ben Moffett. He brought with him strong print design and production management skills, web design experience, and his long time client, Greenville County Parks & Recreation. Since then, Drum Creative has invested in cultivating a design culture of talented designers, programmers, and writers who develop customized WordPress websites.
