The Problem

BFX Fire has been building fire apparatus trucks for over 40 years, and as we were working on other projects for them like their website, brochures and ads, we felt like the logo was starting to look dated by today’s design standards. We approached BFX Fire with our concerns and told them that we thought the flame on their logo could use a refresh and would fix the problem.

Our Solution

We worked through several variations of the logo and came up with this very simple flame between “BFX” and “Fire” while still keeping the same color palette and not dramatically changing the font. Sometimes it just takes simple touches to can make the biggest difference, and now their logo fits nicely with all their design materials.
