Let There Be Mom Recognizes Drum Creative

ArticlesLet There Be Mom Recognizes Drum Creative

This past week our front office door opened and standing in the doorway was a woman wearing all purple, bearing gourmet cupcakes, and a nicely framed “Thank You” message complete with a large number of purple balloons. Our visitor was Jill Cody, the volunteer and family projects coordinator of Let There Be Mom. She dropped by to let us know that they were celebrating their 5-year anniversary. They were also celebrating the various businesses who have supported this unique organization, of which we are one.

Drum Creative has been proud to be a part of this very special organization. Let There Be Mom was created to preserve the legacies of moms and dads who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. They passionately assist parents in preserving the traditions their families have started, the memories they have made, and the hopes and dreams they have for their children. We were grateful to have the opportunity to do the website design for Let There Be Mom and to be associated with such a legacy-impacting effort. You can find out more about them at www.lettherebemom.org

You have the opportunity to support Let There Be Mom on Thursday, October 25th. They will have their 6th annual Dine Out for Mom fundraiser. It’s a special, no-cooking-allowed day, and all meals (including snacks) purchased from participating restaurants will allow Let There Be Mom to receive a portion of the money you spend.  They suggest making plans with your friends, family, and co-workers; catering your next business meeting; bringing in a special treat for teachers or co-workers; or having a GNO (Girl’s Night Out) or GNI (Guys Night In – we are sure there is a televised ballgame that could use some pizza or wings). If you are interested in becoming a restaurant partner or have a suggestion for a restaurant they should add, please contact them at www.lettherebemom.org/contact. Oh, and, wearing purple is optional but appreciated!

We're excited to help you!
