Over 55% of Americans now own a smartphone and over 40% own a tablet. The average person looks at their phone over 100 times per day.
First impressions last. Prospective customers will Google you. Existing customers will Google you. Potential employees will Google you. If your potential customers can’t find you online, they will find your competitors. And if your current website doesn’t look professional, neither will you.
Don’t fall into the trap of, “I don’t need a good website or a website at all for that matter.” Those that do fail to realize that their website is not only a business development tool but also a big part of their company’s overall appearance and reputation. Even businesses bursting at the seams with new customers need to have a good website. Learn more about how to buy a website.

Absolutely. We employ the most popular WordPress eCommerce plugin called WooCommerce. It’s packed full of features and perfectly integrates into the WordPress CMS. It’s very efficient and surprisingly affordable!
Yes. All of our websites are developed on a highly-popular content management system (CMS) called WordPress. It gives you the ability to edit the content areas of the web site yourself including text and images. You are given access to a back-end administrative area, where you can use an online text editor (similar to a mini version of Microsoft Word). The best part is that it’s free. No initial charges or ongoing monthly fees!
We also offer a complimentary training service to all customers that feel more comfortable with an interactive demonstration. Our goal is to bring you up to speed and to demonstrate all of the functionality at a pace that suits you.
Yes. We are happy to continue working together with you to update any information on your website. We offer fixed maintenance plans based on pre-paid “blocks” of hours at reduced hourly rates. Our most popular plan provides up to two hours of monthly support and website updates. This includes updating of graphics, text, code and WordPress updates. Peace-of-mind is delivered each and every month.
In most cases we can have a your custom website designed and on the web within 45 to 60 days. At Project Kickoff, your dedicated project manager will contact you to schedule the Creative Brief interview, the starting point of our step-by-step approach to web design.
While we do not host websites we do assist you in finding and setting up a new host or you can use your current provider. We have a few excellent hosting providers that we can easily recommend. More about choosing a hosting company.
You do. Once it’s been launched, we hand the keys over to you. All imagery, graphics and text will be yours to keep.
We manage relationships with our clients, and our client’s relationship with their customers, utilizing a full-circle approach to maximize your ROI. Starting with a Discovery interview, we implement a four-step, relationship management process based on Analytics, Definition, Design, and Activation.
In advance of the discovery meeting, Drum will review where you are now using current website analytics, identify a baseline to track the path to your future goals, review brand messaging, provide competitive insights, and identify the strengths and weaknesses of your website.
We will meet with the client to finalize a sitemap, identify the content, define the target audience, customize functionality, and determine a design direction. Our team will develop a completion timeline.
Wireframe layouts allow you to preview the site’s interface and functionality and define how the user will access the site.
Collaborating with client to build a content strategy that guides readers to the proper information or action needed to complete the clients goals. This content before design approach ensures the message will be clear and the desired actions apparent.
Drum may adjust your estimate based on additional functionality re-iterated in the wireframes.
Taking the information gathered in the Discovery, our team will complete responsive design mockups based on the wireframes using the branding standards and goals of the web development redesign. The responsive design mockups will include location of images, text formatting, navigation and flow of information.
Once all concepts from the design mockups/wireframes have been approved, our team will begin writing the code to convert these designs into a functional WordPress website. The website itself will be developed on a staging domain, so the client will be able to review the progress as we reach development milestones.
Our team will train selected individuals to manage, add and update content on the website using the WordPress CMS (content management system). This training consists of up to 2 separate sessions. This is the last step before the site goes live.
Drum will cross browser test and repair any issues found on multiple operating systems and browser combinations.
